The Rad Guard is fitted to the bike using Auto Industry Fasteners that make it very easy to remove and install. We recommend that a qualified mechanic do the initial install. Installation time is approximately 15 mins.
Made from Aircraft grade 6060 T1-T5 aluminum and come with all hardware that you require to install.
The rigid frame of the Rad Guard hold the expanded mesh in place so that hard hits by stones or any other road debris will save your core from certain damage.
Our Expanded Mesh is lightweight, very strong and does NOT restrict air flow. Air flow is imperative and using other methods of protection could be detrimental to your bikes engine.
The Expanded Mesh sits off your radiator core by approximately 10-15mm, so even a direct hit from a stone, bird or any other road debris will save your radiator core from being damaged.
