Each Rad Guard comes with its own easy to read fitting instructions. The Rad Guard is bolted onto existing mounting points. There is NO cutting or alterations needed to fit this Rad Guard.
Aircraft grade 6060 T1-T5 aluminium is used to manufacture our Expanded Mesh & Frames.
The rigid frame of the Rad Guard holds the expanded mesh in place so that hard hits by stones and any other road debris will save your core from certain damage. This rigid frame also acts as a brace to prevent the radiator core from being squashed if a side impact occurs. For example, the bike falls off the stand.
The Expanded Mesh has proven to be the perfect choice of material. It is lightweight and very strong. It does NOT restrict air flow.
The Expanded Mesh sits off your radiator core by approximately 10-15mm, so even a direct hit from a stone, bird or any other road debris will save your radiator core from being damaged.
All Rad Guards come with rubber backing were necessary to alleviate any rubbing or vibration. This has already been installed on the guard.
All Rad Guards come with a 3 Year Transferable Warranty.

Great Australian product
Hmm well if you are like me, you've probably been looking at other radiator guards on Mississippi or whatever, seen them at about 1/2 the price, but wondered if they would fit, would they restrict air flow too much etc. Having bought Radguard before and been very happy I decided this was the best choice. It arrived half-way across Australia the next day, well packaged and in good condition. Light weight, strong and good airflow. The only downside (?) was that I enjoy fitting accessories to my bike, and this was all done in about 35 seconds. There were even good clear instructions with pictures and written in English to read afterwards! Great product and I would definitely choose Radguard again.

Sturdy, easy to install, looks good, made in Australia. Only niggle is the guard is a touch small leaving about 1-2mm of my radiator fins exposed on either side, which probably won't affect its performance.

Ordered on Sunday night, got the guard Tuesday morning. 2 minutes to fit including finding the 10 mm socket and putting the tools away afterwards. 3 minutes if you include watching the video first. I've literally spent more time doing this review than it took to fit.

The product seems like it was built out of quality materials and is finished nicely. Regarding fitment, It slides right into place and only takes tightening of one bolt to essentially lock it into place. After installation I noticed the right side (as you look at the radiator) has about 0.5-1 cm of movement. In other words, I'm able to push in on the right side and cause to make contact with the radiator. In my mind, it should be flushed all around and not have any play. Not sure if this is by design or not, but I didn't get the impression is was supposed to have any play. Otherwise, a great looking product. Haven't tested it on harsh rocky terrain yet, but am sure it will protect the radiator from flying debris.

I have received and fitted the guard which i ordered on Wednesday evening. This is the fourth radiator guard that I have purchased. Each one fitted the intended bike perfectly and easily. In addition service was as before, first class. If only more Australian companies operated as efficiently as this company no one would bother buying overseas. Regards John
